As Native Americans were steadily driven off:
Their Vast lands
Their forests leveled
Their rivers and lakes polluted
Their buffalo decimated
And
Were plagued with strange new diseases
Were goaded into Wars of attrition
Were misled by false treaties
And finally
Were confined to small Patches of territories Referred to as...

RESERVATIONS...

We too
As we continue to foul and destroy
The land
The oceans
The environment
The atmosphere
One day
Will be confined to small Patches of land
That will be our
