Manuel Ayaso, Spanish (1934 - )

Painter; Sculptor Born in Riviera, Spain in 1934. Studied at Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts.

His work is in the Whitney Museum of American Art, Worcester Museum and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.

He has exhibited in the International Watercolor Biennial and American Painting and Sculpture at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.

He has won the Tiffany Foundation Scholar in Painting, a Ford Foundation Purchase Prize and the Childe Hassam fund purchase prize.
