Javier Bedoya, Columbian (1961 - )

Javier Bedoya was born on November 5, 1961 in Santuario Risaralda. He was

officially established as an artist in 1983 at his first collective exposition. Since that time he has been involved in more than sixty individual and collective expositions displaying his mastered techniques with: carbon pencil, pastel, acrylic, oil painting, linoleum, xylography, dry point, strong water, mezzo ink, and other materials.

He has also shared sculpture, water color, human figure, and photography workshops. His artwork is not merely just colors that form to create an image, but shapes and lines that are emphasized by raised paint resulting in an art masterpiece. He is a true artist that has been exposed in the U.S.A., Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Spain, France, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and many other countries world wide.
