Graham Borough, Australian (1942 - )

Born in Sydney in 1952. Graham Borough moved to Queensland in 1986 and began painting professionally in 1988. The influences are firstly organic, from growing up in the beachside suburb of Balmoral in Sydney to the vibrant light, colours and beachside culture of sub tropical Queensland. The use of colour and line tend to take precedence. The colours of the artworks have proved over the ears to be timeless. The compositions are balanced to the structure of the works as a whole. For example, the female form, this lends itself to the abstract without loss of the beauty of the subject. The artworks have predominantly sold overseas.
