Kitty Brandfield, British/American (1910 - 1999)
Kitty Brandfield - 1910-1999, was born in London and moved to the United States
as a young girl. She studied at the National Arts Academy, the Art Students League
and also in London, Paris and Mexico.
Her artworks were featured at the Linsley Gallery in Palm Beach in 1968.
Mrs. Brandfield is known for her paintings in oil and watercolors of the oceans and
beaches of Fire Island and the Hampton's form the 50's to the present day,
along with her vivid floral paintings on canvas and board.
Mrs. Brandfield painted her whole life, right up to the last eight years
of her life in New York City.
