Mabel MacDonald Carver, American (1891 - 1966)

An artist, author, and poet; Mabel MacDonald Carver was an extraordinary artist. Born in Forest, Illinois in 1891. She was a member of the National Association of Women Artists and the Pen and Brush Club.

She exhibited at the National Academy of Design, National Association of Women Artists Exhibit and the Society of Independent Artists. She lived most of her life in New York City and that is where she composed most of her poetry and developed her artistic talents. She passed away in 1966.
