Lasch (1944 - )
Born in New York, NY, 1944, painter and graphic artist Pat Lasch
earned a BA at Queens College, and an MFA at Georgia State University.
She lives and works in New York City and has taught at Parsons
School of Design, Rhode Island School o f Design, and the University
of Massachusetts. Her first one-person exhibition was held at
the A.I.R. Gallery in 1973 and she has exhibited widely throughout
the country. Her work is included in the collections of the Metropolitan
Museum of Art; Museum of Modern Art; The National Museum of Women
in the Arts, Washington, DC; Kresge Museum, MI; and the National
Academy. She is the recipient of a New York State Council for
the Arts Grant; National Endowment for the Arts Grant; Rome Prize;
CAPS Grant; Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant; Lilly Fellowship;
and a Yaddo Fellowship.
