Eugene Demester was born in Paris in 1914. He is the son of Charles Lefevre, the well known painter of animals and landscapes. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts for 5 years.
Demester has won the silver medal of the Salon des Atristes Francais and 5 other major awards. He won the Prix Rosset twice of the Salon d' Hiver and two major awards of the Salon d' Asniers in 1952 and 1956.
His paintings have been purchased by the City of Paris, and he specializes in landscapes and marine scenes.
