Bohuslav Dvorak

In 1887, in Prague Academy of Arts and studying at the school of landscape painting under Professor Julius Marzhaka with his fellow classmates, Bohuslav Dvorak and Frantisek Kavan. After the death of Professor Slavichek takes his post of head of school. is among the leading Czech artists of the early twentieth century. His early paintings were written in realistic style, the artist was a master of chiaroscuro. In his later works, feel familiarity with the works of Dvorak representatives of French Impressionism - did not, however, the skill of the Czech artist of significant influence. In his most recent paintings already manifested Dvorak drawn his own original style. Particularly good artist landscapes of his beloved Highlands region.
