Rinaldo Frattolillo, American

Rinaldo Frattolillo

Artist Statement:

"My work is about counterpointing a word, a thought or a material, in order to visualize an idea. It becomes the process of how that idea will be executed, and I select mediums that will work for the visual requirements.

I use any combination of elements, from bronze to belgian linen, corrugated steel, photography, realism, acrylic, wood, plastic, barbed wire, glass, granite etc. My approach to art is to have you realize that what you thought you saw has somehow changed, and to have you rethink reality…in an ironic, controversial, or amusing way.
I was born in New York City, my grammar school was P.S.1, and
I studied art at Parsons School of Design, School of Visual Arts, and The Art Students League. Kempner Fine Arts in New York City, is the gallery that represnts me."
