Peter Grass, Hungarian/American

Peter Grass
Education: Budapest, Hungary
Exhibitions: One-man shows in Budapest, 1965, 1966 and Krakow, Poland 1966, Columbia University, NYC, Boston, 1970

Peter Grass was born in post-WWII Europe and retains both the influence of the pre-war constructivists along with the optical effects of American post-war geometric abstraction. Throughout the 1960s & 70s Peter Grass lived and exhibited in New York City, which obviously informs both his use of color and his overall style.
