Wen Shi Hong

Wen Shi Hong was born in An Shen City, Liaoning Province of China in 1960. He graduated from "Lu Xun Arts University" in 1985 and his works often appear in various art galleries, whether local or abroad. In 1996, he was invited to participate in the "Taiwan Famous Artists Creations Show". Some of his works includes "Boat Projections in Jiang Nan"."Old Banyan Tree at the Riverside", "Little Pleasures in the Village" are respectively collectec by Mr Yang Yong Qing, a famous collector in Taiwan and by Taipei Arts Museum. His other works including "Miao Zhai Exotica" and "Li Jian Old Town" exhibited in the Guangzhou International Arts Expo in 1998 are now collectec by Mr Ha Mo, a famous collector of the United States.

Wen Shi Hong is now a member of Chinese Artists Association, Liaoning Branch and a researcher of World Culture and Arts Center. He is dubbed “a celebrity in the arts world".
“Oil painting” is an art form spreading from the West to the East. By oil painting Wen Shihong reveals a Jiang Nan Village with rich Eastern flavor by Impressionist styles in order to blend together Eastern scenes with this Western art form. Impressionism advocates painting in natural environments. The relaxing and romantic style reflects his painting in particular exquisiteness with the art form. His paintings are unrestrained and carefree, vigorous yet not agitating. It is artistically tranquil and delicate, aesthetic and meaningful with the beauty of music and poetry, reflecting the beauty of his painting.
