Humphries (1960 - )
Jacqueline Humphries has exhibited
widely in the United States and abroad, including solo shows
at Mario Diacono, Boston (1996), Galerie Simonne Stern, New
Orleans (1996), Rena Bransten, San Francisco (1996), Greene
Naftali Gallery, New York (1995-96), and John Good Gallery,
New York (1994, 92, 90, 89). Group exhibitions include Young
Americans: American Art in the Saatchi Collection, Saatchi Gallery,
London (1996), Degrees of Abstraction: From Morris Louis to
Robert Mapplethorpe, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (1995), and
How It Is, Tony Shafrazi Gallery, New York (1992). She has received
numerous awards, including a Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant
(1995) and a Louis Comfort Tiffany Award (1992). The artist
lives and works in New York City.
