Emily James
Emily James has received recognition of her talent through awards and honors, and has enjoyed creating and sharing her art since she was a child. A native Floridian, Emily is known for her versatility in both subject and style, painting landscapes, seascapes, abstracts, and florals. She specializes in creating custom artwork with the feeling and colors the owner will enjoy viewing, often a scene from her travels or those of her client. She frequently works with interior designers where special artwork is needed.

With her acrylics and oils on canvas, Emily has received numerous Best-In-Show ribbons, and was selected as an Outstanding American Woman in the Arts. She is a signature member of the Florida Watercolor Society, accepted into Watercolor U.S.A., and featured in the book, Best of Watercolor. She has exhibited at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, and at numerous one-woman shows, one of which sold out before the show officially opened.

She is the only artist in the U.S. selected by the top three publishers: Winn-Devon Art Ltd., the New York Graphic Society, and Bruce McGaw Graphics. The largest of all the publishers, McGaw Graphics has published fourteen of her images, two of which selected by the top three national fine art are in the top 50 selling prints worldwide.

Born in Pensacola, Emily majored in art at Florida State University and paints daily in her Bonita Beach, Florida studio.
