Ozer Kabas

Özer Kabas, has developed a style of painting, figurative context, seemingly ordinary, associate local themes. Kabaş'ın persistently figurative compositions of interest related to the fact that in the 1980s figuration appears effective in Western art. Again, people mainly on marine and marine paintings depicting a romantic sense and the spirit of resistance gives way.

Robert College in 1957 and graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Master's program at Yale University under the supervision of Joseph Albers studied at the Painting Department. He worked as a faculty member at Mimar Sinan University.

The dramatic point of view these pictures are quite pessimistic and an atmosphere of sadness becomes dominant. So Kabaş'ın pictures, black-narrative model is important as examples of the first self-conscious. Tense and anxious mood that extent, the individual towards the universal drama of these images shaped with an attitude reflected in the eyes of the observer does not run.
