Chris Trella Koczwara, American

(Chris) Trella Koczwara was an American Artist and Professor, the only female artist to have been invited by the United States Secretary of the Navy to record her impressions of the Vietnam War for historical purposes which resulted in a major contribution of paintings now in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Combat Art Collection, Washington, D.C.

Among many other invitational assignments, Trella was at Cape Kennedy for the Apollo 7 Space launch, the work resulting in a cover reproduction of her painting in the United States Naval Institute Proceedings Magazine.
