My fourth year into college,
with honors, and an ambition to pursue medicine had me stumble
upon a revelation that I needed to change my major to fine arts.
Mournful only of giving up my physics and physiology classes
I joyfully registered for introductory painting and printroaking
courses. My passion had truly been tapped. An only child from
Hawaii, the passion has only been exemplified by independent
trips to Italy, a strong influence on my artistic and personal
development. I remain inspired by my previous studies as I add
significant and enriching art museum internships to my resume.
My work may be interpreted as that of a person constantly learning
and always amazed by the world she lives in, wanting to express
and share it in order to ignite excitement in others.
