Hector Molne was born in Camaguey, Cuba. He studied at the Escuela de Arts Palsticas in Camaguey. He was later awared a scholarship to study at the La Grande Chaumiere in Paris.Molne has had numerous exhibitions in Cuba, Costa Rica, LA and Miami where he settled.
Molné has had numerous individual exhibitions in Cuba, Costa Rica, Los Angeles and Miami and has participated in important group exhibitions of Cuban art in Havana, Camaguey, France, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Costa Rica and the U.S. His work is always featured at Nova Galleries and Eduardo Padron Art in Coral Gables, Florida. His works are regularly auctioned at Sotheby's, NY where it always sells well. He currently lives in San Jose, Costa Rica.
