Itzhak Ofer was a Sculptor. b. 1910, Poland. Immigrated 1935. Studies: 1941-45 American University, Cairo, plastic arts and drama. Prize: 1968 Public Council of Culture and Art for Best Play. 1981 Initiated and directed a competition of Environmental Sculpture, Ramat Gan. 1983 Made a Worthy of Ramat Gan. Sculptures: Yad Lebanim, Ramat Gan; Wingate Institute; President's Residence; Peace Park. Died 1998.
