Tim O'Kane (1950 - ) American

  Tim O'Kane is widely regarded as one of America's foremost contemporary realists of our day. Working out of his studios in Virginia, Maine and Sicily, he paints complex metaphors of the landscape, portrait, genre and still life with surprising and visually magnetic results. In all of his work, there is a common theme of objectivity, sensuousness and confrontation.
