David Palterer, Israeli/Italian (1949 - )
David Palterer (Haifa, 1949) is an architect, designer and naturalized Israeli Italian artist who lives and works in Florence.
Born in Haifa, Israel in 1949, lives in Florence in Italy since 1972, where he graduated in 1979  and it is the academic equivalent of the Academy of Arts Design in Florence.
He taught at the Staatliche Akademie der bildenden Kunste in Stuttgart, the architecture faculty of the University of Florence and from 2008 taught at the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano Polo di Mantova.
It deals with projects ranging from the scale, urban, up to the plan for the interior which develops components for the home.
Design recognizes two phases: the testing on the object, as in Reflections in a series of unique pieces, and the relationship with major companies, both in industrial production in the vanguard in the field of glass and crystal ( Daum, Vilca), ceramics (Toscoceramica, Gabbianelli, Bardelli Ceramics), marble (Up Group, decorate, La Perla Marble), lighting (Artemis) and accessories for furniture (Acerbis International, Zanotta, Driade, Draenert Studio, Arzberg, Ritzenhoff, and others).
Some of these objects are part of the permanent collections of art galleries and museums like the Museum of Vienna Kunstgewerbe, the Umeleckoprümyslov Museum in Prague, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the Het Kruithuis Den Bosch, the Musée des beaux arts Montreal, the Civic Gallery of Modern Art in Gallarate, the Fonds national d'art contemporain in Paris, the Chicago Athenaeum Museum and the Kunstmuseum Düsseldorf.
