Russomanno
Louis Russomanno is a self-trained
artist who has mastered the trompe l' oeil technique of painting.
His technical proficiency, use of light, and his ability to
capture the textural quality of the elements he paints, produces
exquisite results. Russomanno's still lifes are created in his
studio and are worked on slowly, taking time in delineating
the texture and shape of each object with incredible precision.
His works are part of the permanent collectionof the New Jersey
State Museum and numerous private collections throughout the
United States and Canada.
His most recent award is the "Award for Still Life in
Memory of Dorothy S. and David K. Tally" from the 2003
Phillip's Mill Art Exhibition in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
