SARRALDE (1921 - )
RUBEN SARRALDE, was born in Montevideo,
Uruguay, in 1921. He first studied drawing and painting with
Enzo Kabregu in 1938. He later founded Atelier "El Molino"
with Ribeiro, Montani, Lopez, Deliotti and other Uruguayan painters,
where they produced many shows and exhibitions. In 1942 he moved
to La Paz City, Canelones, and began a new investigation of
color and form. Since that time Sarralde has won many awards
and had many individual exhibitions in Montevideo and La Paz.
