Abdullahi Baba Usman

Abdullahi Baba Usman is a prolific painter. His early studies were done in the ancient city of Kano. He studied painting at the department of Fine Art of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He has been a teacher of Visual Art since 1986 and attended the Baptist Teachers College in Minna from 1976 to 1981. Studied Fine Art at Niger State College of Education in Minna from 1982 to 1985.

He has written several textbooks on visual art and has taught Fine Art at the Federal Government College Minna from 1986 to 1999 and since 1999 he has been Federal Government College, Kano. He is currently undergoing a master degree in Development studies MDS at Bayero University in Kano.
