Walter Yarwood (1917 - 1996)

Yarwood was born in Toronto in 1917 and earned his living mainly as an advertising artist. As a member of Painters Eleven, he showed a number of richy textured semi figurative canvases. Ragrettably, Yarwood gave up painting shortly after the end of Painters Eleven, in favor of sculpture, cutting short a promising career.
