Adja Yunkers, Internationally known artist in the modern color woodcut,
draws upon his living experience in the American Southwest in this complex,
five - block, eight color woodcut. "The gathering of the Clans,
"with it's evocation of American Indian Petroglyph, suggest primitive
identification with natural forces-an aboriginal vitalism the in conveyed
in Yunker's use of stark white, interrelating line, and the presence
of a compelling central eye. Noted Particularly for his subtitle use
of color and overprinting, Yunkers has combined warm, earthen pigments
wit cool gray films. This signed limited edition is by an artist represented
