Ralph Fasanella's depiction of the New Bedford Whaling Museum in this advertising poster for an exhibition of paintings in 1986 is an example of the artist's skill in representing large crowds within city environments.
Gathered around worktables on the second floor of the museum visible through a cutaway, crowds of people are seen mendering through the space while the streets outside are filled with vehicles and more buildings.
