I was born in Europe on 22 November
1955 As a
child and teenager, I was fortunate that my family
lived close to the sea, and that I could spend my
vacation on my grandparents' farm in the mountains.
It was during this time that I not only fell in love
with all af natures' creatures, but with sketching
and painting them, too.
I've also been lucky to have a family and an art
teacher who were very supportive, and helped me develop
my talent and passion for drawing and painting. My early
formal education led to graduation from a Fine Arts High
School, followed by attending the noted Academy of Fine
Arts in Bucharest.
Although I often tried my abilities as a non-figurative
painter, I never stopped painting animals and landscapes
So it was with great enjoyment that I embarked on my love
of wildlife art here in the United States, where this most
beautiful country maintains many wildlife preserves, zoos,
and National Parks It's a joy to share my experiences
with people so attuned to nature and outdoor life.
My artistic endeavors are often pursued at my home in
Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains, where wildlife abounds
I have works in galleries all over the East Coast, Wild
Wings Galleries, Minnesota, Morgan Gallery, Pennsylvania,
