| Tatum,
Nathaniel (Dec. 10, 1964 - )
Nathaniel was born December 10, 1964 in Oak Cliff, a small community
of Dallas, Texas. He attended school in the DISD. When attending
elementary school, he was called upon to work on most of the art
projects including designing the cover for the year book. When
attending High School, he played football, sang in the choir,
was President of DECA, Vice President of his senior class, Vice
President of the Student Council and participated in a multitude
of other activities.
After high school, he attended Prairie View A&M University
on a football scholarship. Upon leaving college, he served a brief
tour in the United States Air Force. He is now a dedicated member
of the United States Postal Service and lives in Fort Worth, Texas
with his wife and family.
Art has been a passion of his for all of his life. Although he
had left it in the shadows for a while, upon encouragement from
his family and friends, he picked up where he left off and created
his own style of drawing. He has had no art training and his unique
way of drawing is self taught. Now that he has perfected his technique
to be his own signature style, he is ready to share it with the
world. This process has taken a lot of time, effort and faith.
To this much credit is given to his pastor, Bishop T.D. Jakes,
Senior Pastor of the Potter’s House, Dallas, Texas, who teaches
to follow your dreams and to cultivate the gift that God has given
you.
It is his desire that each piece will bring as much appreciation
and satisfaction to it’s recipient as it has brought to him in
creating it.
