Yuri Yurov, Russian/American (1961 - )

Yuri Yurov was born in Voronezh, Russia. He began his formal training as an artist at the age of 12 and finished it in The Academy of Arts in Moscow, Russia.

The range of techniques he uses includes oil on wood, which allows the finest brush strokes, oil over aciylic paste - with the paste forming the relief of the surface, and many others. The artist also creates graphic pieces, using pencil, ink, charcoal on paper. Yuri Yurov's works are available for viewing at his studio in Rockaway Park, New York, by appointment only Limited edition prints of some works are available, each individually signed and numbered by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
