about Touching

Experience Federico Castellón’s enigmatic hand-signed Touching lithograph, a captivating Surrealist landscape featuring a man and woman with oversized heads holding hands in a dreamlike setting.

This thought-provoking Figurative print exemplifies the Surrealism movement’s exploration of human connection and psychological depth through imaginative visual metaphors. Castellón’s masterful composition merges landscape elements with surreal figurative forms, creating a poetic meditation on intimacy, relationships, and the mysteries of human emotion. A distinctive example of Surrealist and Figurative printmaking that brings intellectual intrigue and emotional resonance to any collection seeking sophisticated work on paper with symbolic depth.

About The Medium: Lithograph

A print created using flat stones or metal plates. The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials like lithograph crayons or special grease pencils. After this, the drawing is transferred from the plate to the paper in multiples. A lithograph will not have dots when examined with a magnifying glass.
