It involved pooling paint onto the canvas and then hitting it with the shotput ball. It is signed in the lower right corner by both Wilkins and Judy Wahl.

About The Artist: Mac Wilkins

Mac Maurice Wilkins is an American athlete who competed mainly in the discus throw. He was born in Eugene, Oregon and graduated in 1969 from Beaverton High School in Beaverton, Oregon. Distance running coach Bill Bowerman recruited Wilkins to the University of Oregon, where he threw the javelin 257 ft 8 in (78.54 m) as a 19-year-old freshman.
