When creating an abstract painting she works intuitively. Miri uses several techniques including brushes, spatulas, sponges and silicon mops. At first, the shapes seem random, but layer by layer, they connect and make sense. The outcome is expressive and captivating abstracts.

Miri's figurative compositions are imbued with romance and sensuality. She starts with a realistic drawing adding abstract elements during the painting step.

When painting an abstractive landscape, she starts with a blank canvas, Miri paints randomly but with a purpose in mind to create the specific scene. The scene can be something she saw in the past, a photo, or an imaginary landscape. She uses the same techniques as in the abstract style.
