About the artist:

Semine Hazar is an award-winning lighthouse artist who creates oil paintings, particularly of seascapes and lighthouses of the world, often with themes of the environment. She has exhibited her work internationally, including for a year last year at the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum, which added her work to their permanent collection. Her art, inspired by her experiences witnessing melting ice in Argentina, was exhibited at the United Nations on the inaugural World Glaciers Day
