About The Artist: Alfred Sandford

Alfred Peter Frank Sandford was born in London, England on Nov. 12, 1929. He attended Enfield Technical College, Queensway, Enfield, and worked as a mechanical engineer. His duties consisted of drawing blueprints and designs. He left the UK in the early 1950’s to work for Boeing, in Toronto, finally settling in Flushing, NY by the later 1950’s. He began painting in the 1960’s and over the latter years of his life attended...
