About The Artist: Antonio Sereix

Antonio Sereix was born in Puigmotto, Spain in 1931. In 1945, Sereix began his studies at the Academy of Bellas Artes in Barcelona. By 1959, he had his first solo exhibition in Havana, Cuba, and grom there made his way to Miami, FL and Beveryly Hills, CA where he exhibited his portrait work. Over the course of several decades, Sereix exhibited throughout the United States and Europe. It is clear that Sereix has been inspired by the various forms...

About The Medium: Lithograph

A print created using flat stones or metal plates. The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials like lithograph crayons or special grease pencils. After this, the drawing is transferred from the plate to the paper in multiples. A lithograph will not have dots when examined with a magnifying glass.
