About The Artist: Dan Fig

Dan Fig earned his BFA from Rutgers University in 2010 and his MFA at Hunter College in 2018. His paintings are amalgamations of cultural influences ranging from explicit art historical references, graphic design and advertising language, soccer matches, and more. These elements, in concert with one another and in their invented spaces, create a familiarity with a tendency toward the absurd....

About The Medium: Acrylic

A fast-drying paint made of pigment suspended in acrylic polymer emulsion. Acrylic paints are water-soluble, but become water-resistant when dry.
