About the artist:

Born 1. 12. 1943 in Metylovice. In the years 1968-1974 he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague with Professor Zdenek Sklenar and Professor Vaclav Menčík. He works in painting, drawing, restoration and creation of architecture. Exhibitions since 1973 - Prague, Bratislava, Pilsen, Czech Budejovice, Kladno, Pisek, Tabor, Teplice. Foreign exhibitions since 1984 - Copenhagen, Wiesbaden, Nuremberg, San Francisco, Paris In 1996 he received the prize of Masaryk Academy for artistic creativity. Since 2001, annually participates in charity events "MINISALON clapperboards", organized in the framework of the International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Zlín. His works are represented in private and public collections at home and abroad. Teaching activities: 1987 - 1993 assistant professor at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, 1999 - yet specialist teacher at the Secondary School of Applied Arts and the College of Applied Arts in Prague.
