Frances Lamont, born in Lawrence Park, New York, was a sculptor whose work included portrait figures and busts and war memorials. She studied at Bennett School and with sculptors Mahonri Young, Boardman Robinson, and Anna Hyatt Huntington. She was a member of the National Sculpture Society and exhibited widely including the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum, the Pennsylvania Academy and the Ogunquit Museum.
