about El Sueno

The piece demonstrates the artist’s exceptional ability to find beauty in quiet moments while showcasing his deep understanding of the restorative power of dreams and rest in Mexican culture. This rare limited edition work from an edition of 25 with 5 artist’s proofs represents a significant example of 1970s Latin American printmaking and Zuniga’s exploration of contemplative themes.

About The Medium: Lithograph

A print created using flat stones or metal plates. The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials like lithograph crayons or special grease pencils. After this, the drawing is transferred from the plate to the paper in multiples. A lithograph will not have dots when examined with a magnifying glass.
