Broncho Bill was one of the earliest Western adventure comic strips, beginning in 1928 under the title "YOUNG BUFFALO BILL". For a short time in the 1930's it was titled "BUCKAROO BILL", in 1932 it became "BRONCHO BILL". The strip ran until 1950 all done by Harry O'Neill, both the artwork and writing.
