The Circus of Toulouse-Lautrec.

The 39 lithographs were entirely hand drawn by the master lithographer Marc Kniebihler. All sheets were printed on arches paper and the edition description page in each book has been numbered in pencil. The printing of this edition was completed on November 22, 1990 at the presses of Original Artworks Ltd. Of Island Park, New York.

About The Artist: Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec was born on November 24, 1864, in southern France. Son and heir of Comte Alphonse-Charles de Toulouse, he was the last in the line of an aristocratic family that dated back a thousand years. Today, the family estate houses the Musée Toulouse-Lautrec.
