About The Artist: John Salt

Photo-Realist painter John Salt was born in 1937 in Birmingham, England. He studied at the Birmingham College of Art, later at The Slade School of Art, London. Salt moved to the United States in 1967, becoming a Photo-Realist after initially working as an abstractionist.
