About The Artist: Kaiko Moti

Kaiko Moti was born in Bombay, India in 1921. As a young man, he attended the Bombay School of Fine Arts for five years. Upon receipt of a scholarship from University College, he moved to London. In 1950 Moti moved to Paris, where he studied sculpture under Ossip Zadkine. Lack of space in Paris was a challenge to Moti, so he turned from sculpture to printmaking.
