About The Artist: Lucio del Pezzo

Born in Naples, Italy in 1933. He lives and works between Milan and Paris. Del Pezzo studied at the Academy of Fine Art and the Institute of Applied Art in Naples With small and large sculptures, collages, watercolors, and paintings - Del Pezzo's many types of work are full of symbols, signs and innovative objects, which are revisited by the Artists' scrutinizing eye. About The Medium: Screenprint

A stencil process employing a frame on which silk or synthetic fabric is stretched. Stencils are hand-drawn or hand-cut and placed on the stretched fabric and act as a block out when the ink passes through the screen by means of a squeegee onto the paper, the non-stencil areas create the image. Also known as silkscreen or serigraph.
