An impression from the book of Marc Chagall's (Russian, 1887-1985) lithographs.

Published in 1960 by Éditions André Sauret, Monte-Carlo. From 1960 to 1974 Chagall produced 28 lithographs for the six volumes of the Lithographs Catalogue Raisonné. A clown is captured jumping in the air against a bright yellow background, expressing all the joy and the excitement of the circus.
