About The Artist: Max Hein

Max Hein was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on December 27, 1943. He received his bachelors degree at San Diego University in 1966 and his M.A. and M.F.A. at UCLA in Los Angeles. Hein began teaching printmaking at the Santa Rosa Junior College in California in 1960. He did independent study in Japan in 1980. Hein exhibited extensively throughout the world including the Pasadena Museum of Art in 1969 & 70; Bradford Museum in Yorkshire, England;...
