about Femme aux Mains Jointes (Marie-Therese Walter)

Seated in a chair across from the viewer, Marie-Therese Walter stares ahead while she clasps her hands together in her lap.

Comprised of curving lines that divide geometric shapes, the work is a prime example of Pablo Picasso's mastery of Cubism.
