about Berliner Mauer by Rainer Fetting - 1988 Lithograph

Berliner Mauer by Rainer Fetting captures the iconic Berlin Wall in powerful 1988 lithograph with expressive Neo-Expressionist imagery.

This historically significant print by the German artist features bold gestural marks and vivid color rendered with the artist’s signature exploration of Berlin identity, political division, and urban landscape. Created the year before the Wall’s fall, the composition showcases Fetting’s mastery of German Neo-Expressionism with raw emotional energy and historical resonance. A profound addition for collectors of German contemporary art and Berlin Wall imagery. Signed and dated in pencil, published by Ed. St. Helier Jersey, Rene van Bree/New Artists Ltd.
