An original oil painting by Egyptian Born French Artist, Raymond Abner (1919 - 1999) entitled "Espace en Gris".

Abner rubbed shoulders with the top artist's in the Montparnasse, Paris in the 1950's and studied with Fernand Leger. He exhibited at Galerie Denis Rene in 1956, the year of this painting. The canvas measures 17.5 x 24.5 inches and is framed to 21 x 24.5 inches.

About The Artist: Raymond Abner

Raymond Abner was born in Cairo in 1919. He studied engineering between 1937 and 1939 but at the age of 20 he began to focus on art and began his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Cairo in 1941 and finished in 1943. He took lessons at the St. Martin's School of London, UK from 1945-1947, after which he moved to Paris, France to work with various studios.
